Vegan Irish Soda Bread

This rustic Vegan Irish Soda Bread is so crusty and delicious. Made in one bowl with just 5 simple ingredients, it’s so easy to make and ready in less than 30 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

-4 cups of flour

-2 tsp. baking soda

-1/2 tsp. salt

-2 cups of oat milk

-2 Tbsp vinegar

Combine the oat milk and vinegar. Whisk and then set aside for 10 minutes so it can curdle and make the vegan buttermilk.

To a large mixing bowl add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk everything together until it's well combined. 

Add the vegan buttermilk to the flour and mix. Then knead into a ball.

Flatten the dough into a disc 1/2" - 1" thick.

Use a serrated knife to score an "X" into the top of the bread. This will ensure it cooks evenly all the way through.

Bake at 430˚F for 25 minutes.
