Crispy baked oil-free french fries and creamy vegan queso come together to make these delicious vegan nacho fries. The ultimate comfort food, this recipe is sure to be a hit for the big game day, party, or any family gathering.

  • 1 recipe of Crispy Homemade Baked French Fries
  • 1 Tablespoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Vegan Nacho Cheese Sauce

Instructions

  1. Start by making the french fries and queso according to the recipes.
  2. Once you’ve made the queso and while the fries are baking, combine all of the spices together in a large mixing bowl and set them aside. Be sure the bowl is large enough to hold all of the fries once they’re done baking.
  3. When the fries have finished baking add them to the mixing bowl with the spices and spritz with a little Bragg’s liquid aminos or drizzle with some low-sodium veggie broth, this will help the spices stick to the fries. Cover the mixing bowl and toss until all of the fries are coated. Place the fries back on the baking sheet and bake for another 10 minutes.
  4. Serve the fries with the queso on the side or on top of the fries.
  5. Optional: top with jalapeños and avocado. And, serve with extra sauces like ketchup and vegan sour cream.

Notes

  • Cooking time is assuming nothing has been made ahead of time. 
  • This recipe does not store well because the french fries are not good when reheated. But, there should be no problem finishing them off.
  • If you don’t like spicy food leave out spices like cayenne pepper.
