This bread machine pizza dough recipe is a hassle-free way to achieve perfect pizza dough every time. It’s the perfect dough for your next pizza night.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup of warm water (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons of aquafaba
  • 2 2/3 cups of bread flour or 00 flour
  • 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon of whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons of active dry yeast or instant yeast

Instructions

  1. Place ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order they are listed. Be sure the kneading paddle is attached.
  2. Select the DOUGH setting.
  3. Press START to begin the dough-making process.
  4. At the end of the DOUGH cycle, remove the pizza dough and follow your favorite pizza recipe.
  5. Optional: you can also divide the dough in half and make two smaller pizzas.

  • Hint: The dough should double in size. If it doesn’t, let the dough rest in the bread pan until it does.
  • If not using right away, wrap your bread machine pizza dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 3-4 days.
  • Freezing: After the dough is ready, divide it into equal portions, cover each portion with parchment paper, and wrap them individually in plastic wrap. Place the wrapped dough portions into freezer-friendly plastic bags. Freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw the pizza dough in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours.
  • Follow the ingredients and put them in the bread pan in the order listed.
