Avocado Green Goddess Dressing is packed with nutrients, delicious flavor, and the perfect way to liven up your salads. Creamy, healthy, and ready in just 5 minutes, it’s completely plant-based and oil-free.


  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 large avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups chopped fresh parsley parsley (1 cup dried parsley)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (2 Tbsp dried basil)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Peel the garlic and add it to a food processor or blender. Blend until the garlic is finely chopped. It’s ok if it spreads out around the sides of the food processor.
  2. Add all of the remaining ingredients and blend until it is smooth and creamy with very few to no lumps. Taste, season with salt and pepper if desired, and blend again if needed.
  3. Serve immediately or store in the fridge in a jar or an airtight container for up to 5 days.



  • For a thicker dressing start with half the amount of water and gradually add to reach your desired consistency.
  • Make sure your avocados are perfectly ripe for best results.
  • Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
  • Although this avocado green goddess dressing will keep for several days in the fridge it’s best when enjoyed fresh and immediately.
