Learn how to make oat milk at home with only 2 ingredients. It’s so easy and ready in less than 5 minutes. It’s creamy, nutritious, and so good. Homemade oat milk is great for baking, your morning coffee, cereal, and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of old-fashioned oats
  • 4 cups of ice-cold water
  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the oats, water, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt to a high-speed blender. Blend for 30-45 seconds.
  2. Pour the milk through a cheesecloth, nut milk bag, or fine mesh strainer into a large mixing bowl. Strain again for a creamier and smoother texture.
  3. Chill and enjoy.

Notes

Make sure and use certified gluten-free oats if are you gluten-free.

Add maple syrup or dates to sweeten your oat milk. A little vanilla is great if you want it flavored.
