Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup creamy cashew mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish (I love Wickles!)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a small bowl and stir everything together.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve with vegan fish sticks, onion rings, or use in place of your favorite condiment on sandwiches.
- Store any leftovers in the fridge in a jar or airtight container for up to 5 days.
Notes
This delicious vegan tartar sauce is even better once it’s had time to chill a bit. So, if you know you’re going to be needing it, whip up a batch a day or two ahead of time.
You can store leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Unfortunately, it does not freeze well.
