1 1/2cups of raw almonds
1 1/2cups of raw pecans
Sea salt to taste
Optional add-ins: maple syrup, coconut sugar, cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Spread the almonds and pecans evenly on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 5-10 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
Let the nuts cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a food processor.
Add sea salt and cinnamon, if using, to the nuts in the food processor.
Blend the ingredients, pausing occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl, until you achieve a smooth and creamy nut butter consistency.
Taste the mixture and add a sweetener of your choice if desired. Blend again to combine.
