Description
Cream cheese and sausage dip has been around for decades. But this vegan version is sure to make meat lovers smile and be the hit of the party. It’s so simple to make and requires just 3 ingredients. Oil-free, dairy-free, and absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 recipe of vegan sausage crumbles or Italian sausage crumbles.
- 1 package (8 oz.) of Kite Hill Cream Cheese. If you don’t have this available you may use my homemade Cashew Cream Cheese.
- 1 can No Salt Added Ro-Tel (tomatoes and green chilies)
Instructions
- Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add sausage crumbles, vegan cream cheese, and Ro-Tel. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 2-3 minutes or just until everything is hot.
- Spoon into a round baking dish and serve with healthy tortilla chips or fresh veggies.
Notes
Cook time depends is assuming the sausage crumbles is premade and using Kite Hill Cream Cheeses.
Make the sausage crumbles and cream cheese the night before. This will save you a few minutes.
Garnish with grilled onions, sliced jalapeño peppers, or my vegan bacon bits.
If you want to take this over the top you can bake it the oven after cooking it on the stove. The edges will crisp and bring out even more flavor. Simply heat the oven to 400˚F, spoon into a round baking dish, and bake for 10 minutes. Perfection.
Serve in a crockpot on the low setting during a party or gathering to keep warm.
