If ever I had a weakness, it’s chips! Those little crunchy triangles of salty goodness were/are a hard habit to break. But, now I live guilt-free because of these little miracles – BAKED TORTILLA CHIPS WITH NO OIL!

Yes, I know it’s hard to believe. But, these things are amazing and just as crunchy as their deep-fried counterpart. So, grab a bag of corn tortillas, your favorite salsa, and get ready to live again!

Because we’re making Baked Homemade Tortillas Chips. Let’s go!

Chances are you have everything you need in your cabinet or pantry to make these. There’s just one ingredient – ONE – corn tortillas!

And, if you don’t, it’s time to jump in your car and head to the store ’cause you got some chips to make!

How To Make Baked Homemade Tortilla Chips

It’s this easy.

Preheat your 350 degrees. Cut the chips into little triangles or strips and lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Now, place them in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until they’re golden. Be careful if you go any longer because they can burn fairly quickly.

And, that’s it! Deliciously crunchy homemade tortilla chips. And, apart from being much healthier than the “heart attack in a bag” varieties that sit on a shelf, these chips are also very inexpensive to make. I think I spent around two bucks for a pack of tortillas.

Use my Mealthy crisp lid and no wait for oven to heat up. You can spray with water mixed with lime juice before you cook. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻

My corn tortillas came out chewy or when baked longer too brittle. I really want to make these work, do you have any suggestions?
