The famous quote by the Greek physician Hippocrates, "Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food" says it all. Here are 25 Immune Boosting Recipes using healthy ingredients to help boost your immune system.

There’s no doubt the recent pandemic we are experiencing is uncertain and unnerving. And, the fact it is affecting all of us only serves to make it more frightening. But, one of the best things you can do right now is to focus on yourself and giving your immune system a boost. And, the best way to do that is with a healthy diet centered around fruits, vegetables, and other healthy plant-based foods.

Which foods boost up the immune system?

Fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants like blueberries, strawberries, beans, and kale are excellent. And, fruits and vegetables that contain nutrients like beta-carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E are great in helping to boost immune function.

These are easy recipes that all contain many immune-boosting ingredients. And, you can make most of these recipes using ingredients found in your pantry. Freezable foods also work great in place of fresh if that’s more readily available.

Shane, I am thrilled with the recipes you offer. I’ve been vegan for over a dozen years and have used many recipes found online and in books and I have to say your recipes are so simple and practical and inexpensive and delicious. You offer something ‘regular folks’ can experiment with, especially those who are not vegan and just tipping their toes in. Thanks for your presence and your love … this comes through in the beautiful photos and your words. Keep it up. You are making a great impact. Blessings.
