Let’s face it, every New Year’s Eve we all decide to do something better or new. Usually, it involves food and losing weight. For some, it’s eating more veggies; some, adding at least one more salad to their weekly routine; and, some go completely crazy and vow to try some vegan recipes.
Sadly, once everyone has recovered from all the celebrations and champagne sometimes those “resolutions” are forgotten and put off for another year. We all have good intentions but life just happens and can cause us to get distracted along the road.
But, it doesn’t take much to get back on track and achieve your goals. At the end of the day, we just have to make up our minds and DO IT! And, it’s much easier than one might think.
Switching to a whole-foods, plant-based diet, or vegan diet is not that complicated with a little planning. And, I think most find they don’t have to give up flavor or not be satisfied after a meal.
It’s very simple to make healthy versions of all your favorite foods. Simply by replacing animal products with some simple ingredients that are healthier and plant-based you can still enjoy party food and desserts.
